IDEAS> fundraising event ideas please

Help: we are talking to a group of employees tomorrow and they want us =
to come to the meeting with some ideas for fundraising activities. Being =
a charity that mainly raises funds through grant-making trusts, we don't =
have much experience of this and wondered if anyone out there had any =
good suggestions - not large scale events, but things of the quiz night, =
dress down day, sponsored activity variety - maybe things that have =
worked well with a relatively young and well healed group of people. Or =
can anyone point us in the direction of any useful websites? Not wishing =
to nick anyone's ideas, any thoughts would be appreciated.
