Management Courses

Can anyone recommend a good staff-management course?
I have been line managing for a little over a year, but am looking for something to confirm what I've already learnt, and stop me getting into any bad habits. A course offering guidance on conducting supervision, appraisals and motivating staff would be an added bonus.
I also have a limited budget, so anything £500 or less is required.

Our local technical college delivers the Chartered Institute of Management course and offers a subsidy of up to 50% making the total payable for what is arguably the course that sets the standard at less that £500.
So ask your local technical college!
