Which trusts support overseas volunteers?

hi
i would be really grateful if anyone cud tell me if they knew of any grant making trusts that give money to individuals for volunteering overseas or GAP years.

From the date of your query, you may have already gone and returned. I'm in the same position - having signed up for a volunteering project overseas...One trust I came across was the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust which may give a grant if you're going for between 4-8 weeks. Unfortunately I'm only going for 3, so that rules me out! If anyone else has advice on this, please get in touch.
