Greencom

Submitted by Forum_Admin on 22 February, 2006 - 12:04.

Can any participating charity share any information/advice they may have about the Greencom initiative?
How much pressure is there to share database details with Greencom etc.?

Thanks!

RE: Greencom

I think they're currently only out of Ireland - though they may be expanding into the UK. Declaration of 10% of your billings to go to one of the participating charities so the scheme is like many other affinity schemes - customers sign up and then the charity gets the money (hopefully). I doubt they would be after the participating charities own databases as that would be strongly resisted - though of course the charities might mention the fact to their own supporters, that by signing up the charity will be helped.

If in doubt try contacting one of the Irish charities mentioned on the home page (www.greencom.ie)
