I wrote a programme to print raffle tickets for a friends club, and have now made it available online for free. You need MS .NET Framework 2.0 installed to use it. (Theres a download link on the site)

RE: Free raffle ticket software
Thanks very much indeed for the use of your software, this is a really good way for our volunteers to fundraise. As far as Uk law is concerned, the IoF guidelines are good but I also spoke to my local lisensing department who gave me advice and sent a booklet.
RE: Free raffle ticket software
There's a lot of good advice on the law, although they're careful to say it's not definitive legal advice, from the Institute of Fundraising in their code of practice for lotteries and raffles at:

That should give any UK users of your tool a good summary of the requirements, including what needs to be included on the tickets themselves.
RE: Free raffle ticket software
You can write whatever you like, or is required, on the tickets, stubs and covers. No one I know of has used it in the UK. Can you point me toward some info on the legal requirements in the UK? I'll put anything specific to the UK in the web sites instructions
re: Free raffle ticket software
I was thinking of some of the various legal requirements in the UK such as:
* not having an option in your software to allow charities to offer a discount e.g. four tickets sold for the price of five.
* printing information/terms on the ticket about what happens to late entries e.g. assumed to be a donation, or entered into the next draw?
* maximum ticket price of £2
While fundraising from raffles is a pretty standard activity in many countries the specific laws on how they are conducted are, I imagine, different. That's why I was interested if UK charities had used your free service successfully.
RE: Free raffle ticket software
What do you mean by 'applicable in a UK context' ?
The software allows you to design and print raffle tickets.
It has saved local clubs and schools here from paying printing costs, and I have made it available to use free online.
RE: Free raffle ticket software
Looks like you're based in Australia. Do you have any UK charity clients or users of your system yet who can vouch that it's applicable in a UK context? Thanks.
