Hello
I am a Raisers Edge user working for a charity called CARE International and wanted to know if anyone knows of any RE User groups that are independantly run (i.e. NOT associated with Blackbaud) - ideally run in or around London.
Thanks

RE: Raisers Edge User Groups
I know - I attended their customer briefing day and they asked various questions about it. I think the way they are run at the moment is not bad, because the users are engaged well, but I really wanted to know if there was one independantly run from Blackbaud just so you can have a second opinion on things.
I have checked out the blackbus site which is very good but is mainly visited by US charities.
Actually in case you are interested, there is also a online user group (mainly frwquented by US people again) in one of the yahoo groups - TRE_Users at yahoogroups.com - which I have just discovered as another resource.
Thanks for your reply Simon.

RE: Raisers Edge User Groups
As far as I know there's no independent user groups in the London area, or anywhere else for that matter. The only really independent grouping at all is the Blackbaud User Society - http://www.blackbus.org - which is mostly an online forum. There a few UK-based people on there (like me). What would you want a user group to do? I know that Blackbaud are looking to relaunch their user group programme, and are hoping (or at least claim that they're hoping) to make it much more user-led.
