I run a 100 club for a small meditation charity and we offer prizes not cash for our monthly winners - eg a free meditation day course or a meditation book. Does anyone know if this needs to be registered with our local authority as it does not involve a cash draw? The max prize value is about £20.
Any advice, links or experices would be greatly appreciated.
many thanks for your help

RE: Help with 100 club rules
Many thanks Peter. That is helpful - it might be wise to make sure we use some rules regarding who is elegible to join - ie members. Thanks again.

RE: Help with 100 club rules
My understanding with 100 clubs is as they are usually "private membership" groups and therefore not open to the public they don't need a lottery licence, even having a monthly draw for cash.
If however you're selling membership to anybody then you would be best to register (only £37.50 last time I did) with the LA as there obviously is a draw and winners, even if the prizes aren't worth much.
