RE: Setting up a childrens home
Usual question from me: are you sure there is no charity out there that is already working in the area?
Setting up a charity is like setting up a new business - hard work. Except harder, because you need trustees and international development is an extremely competitive field when it comes to fundraising.
I'm sure that any small to medium-size charity working with children in Namibia would welcome your enthusiasm with open arms and be very happy to discuss your particular dreams with you. Embassies are usually a good source of contacts for NGOs working in their home countries and suggest that this should be your first call.
