uk member needs advice

Hello,
I am in the process of launching a networking website for business executives to organise social events.Ideally i would like to combine a commercial event ie sell table space with a charity event such as hold an auction & sell tickets for the charity etc.
Can anyone advise me on how to go about doing this.Can it be done?.
