I am working for the international secretariat of a network of organisations around the world.

Has anyone got any tips on how to get funds for international projects? Most foundations I look at state that they only fund work in their own country or otherwise they do fund international work, but only if carried out by a UK charity. We can possibly submit a proposal through our UK branch for these foundations but this puts extra pressure on them.

Are there any foundations who fund international work for organisations based outside their own country?
