I'm on the management committee of smallish charity looking to diversify our ranges of funding. A couple of local businesses have asked us whether we have sponsorship packs - something we don't do at present but feel this might be a useful avenue to explore. Is there anywhere we can start looking in terms of what they should contain & what we should offer in return. do we asks for specifics e.g. running costs of a piece of equipment or is a more general approach acceptable e.g. £x will allow our centre to remain open for a week?
What should we offer in return - links to web pages, plaques, invites to events? really looking to establish what is normally expeed. does anyone know where we might find examples of packs already used.
