Radio Forth Radiothon

Radio Forth is today running Scotland’s first ever Radiothon. Based at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, the three-day event aims to raise money for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation and listeners will be urged to call in the special pledge line to donate.

Forth One DJs Boogie and Arlene will be at the hospital and will feature some of the people who work at the hospital.

Forth One's Breakfast presenter, Boogie, said: "A lot goes on behind the scenes in hospitals that we don’t necessarily know about so we’re looking forward to being able to give listeners the chance to hear first hand about all the good work carried out in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, while hopefully raising lots of money in a fun way and for a very good cause."

Forth One and Two will be broadcasting live from the hospital from 6am to 6pm on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th September, as well as 6am to 12noon on Saturday 27th September.
