Online fundraising: Our online store, chooseMAD, offers a wide range of fashionable and desirable jewellery at extremely competitive prices. Charities can register free of charge for their own branded version of the chooseMAD store, with their own unique url. Whenever a shopper makes a purchase via that URL the charity receives 100% of the net profit after wholesale and running costs. In addition, every visitor to the main online store must choose an organisation to benefit from their purchase via our charity directory, which lists every organisation registered with us. This gives charities the opportunity to build their donor base and cultivate new relationships. ChooseMAD handles all aspects of administration and fulfilment on the charity’s behalf.

Register free for your M.A.D. online store

Each charity has back end access to their own account which lists the exact details of funds raised in a transparent format that can be used for accounting and gift aid purposes.

Unlike many online offerings chooseMAD is designed to offer a high and sustainable yield to charities. The business model is supported by heavy venture capital investment into commercial marketing, traffic generation, SEO and customer service to develop a healthy, loyal and growing customer base for the benefit of our not for profit clients. There is no set up cost or ongoing costs to charities, and due to our wholesale relationships there is no upfront outlay on stock. Charities can therefore benefit from new income without the pressure of reporting on associated fundraising costs.

Community fundraising: M.A.D. offers a ready-made jewellery party model that can be rolled out to supporters and volunteers quickly and easily. We provide stock samples, marketing materials and order sheets and then fulfil all orders on the charity’s behalf. We liaise directly with the organisation on all financial and insurance arrangements so that the volunteer does not have to worry about handling cash or liability for security. This is a great way to mobilise volunteers and supporters with a fun new idea that can be actioned at home, in the workplace or via community hubs such as the volunteer’s church, school or community centre.

Due to our relationships and well established supply chain we can negotiate extremely competitive costings - even for charities with a smaller merchandising budget.

Risk-free event auction prizes: Even at very short notice M.A.D.’s jewellery specialists can source an auction prize targeted to the charity’s guest demographic and event budget. A purchase price and reserve is agreed with the charity – but no payment is requested for the item unless and until the reserve is safely made. We can attend events on request with our own payment facilities, accept payment on the charity’s behalf and then donate the profit to the charity should the charity require that service. Or the charity can handle this independently and we simply supply the prize and request payment, leaving the charity with a healthy and predictable profit against an agreed expenditure.

Marketing support: Our experienced fundraising and marketing specialists work closely with our clients to provide ready-made marketing materials that can be easily adapted to the charity’s brand. This relieves busy fundraisers of the pressure and cost of taking on extra marketing campaigns, whilst ensuring that they can maximise the income generating opportunities available through M.A.D.

Online marketing campaigns: We offer a range of online support services free of charge to our clients to help them spread the word about M.A.D.
