Trading Director of Oxfam becomes CEO at WRVS

David McCullough has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of volunteering charity WRVS. He joins from Oxfam where he was Deputy Chief Executive and Trading Director.
While at Oxfam he was responsible for leading 23,000 volunteers in over 600 shops around the UK, managing commercial partnerships including those with Marks and Spencer, and he served as a Board member of the Fair Trade Foundation and Café Direct.
Before that he worked in retail, including as Retail Director at Saxone, and Retail Operations Director at Miss Selfridge. He was also Managing Director of Managing Director of Equifax Card Solutions.
WRVS regularly helps over 100,000 older people each month to retain their independence at home and live how they want in their community. it also runs hospital-based shops, cafes and support services.
