The IOF NW Managing for Success Masterclass has been specially designed by Lucy Gower and Kevin Kibble to provide experienced and senior managers with an opportunity to develop and build on existing skills, and to learn, within a supportive and peer group environment, how to get the most from working within the senior management team.
Delegates will need to be experienced professional fundraising leaders, CEOs, finance or marketing personnel. This practical workshop includes deskwork, team problem solving, risk analysis, leadership, presentation skills, creativity and inter-personal skills.
Running from Monday afternoon, over night, and into late Tuesday morning, and limited in numbers, the Managing for Success Masterclass will encourage you to look at creative solutions to managing, problem solving, collaborative working and delivering results and impact. Run under the Chatham House rule, this Masterclass will encourage peer-to-peer networking and support, and you will come away with a toolkit covering the different elements of the course, a further reading and research list, and a follow-up CD/DVD of the course.
Specific Skill Development – listening skills, collaborative working, creativity, team building, problem solving, working with strategy and presentation skills
Management skill development - Evaluating risk, strategy organisational/departmental, primary business functions, organisational management, building a strong SMT, keeping good people
Cost: £200 for members and £275 for non-members (including accommodation and meals)
IOF North West Annual Conference - For those who wish to continue and take part in the Conference at the end of this Masterclass may do so for a reduced fee of £60 for the remainder of the day or £150 if you wish to stay for the remainder of the two days.
