This training course will explore different forms of income available to voluntary organisations.  The session will enable you to identify new ways to successfully generate income within the context of your organisation.

The course will look at case studies of organisations that have successfully diversified their income.  Each participant will receive a toolkit to help identify which income streams are most appropriate for their organsiation and a step by step process for generating new income.

By the end of the course you will:

• Understand what income diversification means within the context of the voluntary sector and within your organisation.
• Understand the investments your organisation will need to make in order to diversify successfully.
• Be aware of and understand how to manage the risks relating to diversification.
• Know how to measure the success of new forms of income generation undertaken by your organisation.
• Understand the different income diversification tools and how to make use of them.
• Know where to go for further support.
• Feel more confident at identifying and generating new income.

This training will be delivered by Mark Hopley and Nina Muir from Harrogate CVS. Between them Mark and Nina have over 25 years experience of helping charities to identify, research and secure new funding streams.
