Gift Aid: Changes to gift aid in 2013 & how to make a claim

Gift aid is changing… this training session will update your organisation on the changes to gift aid for 2013 and help you understand how to maximise and develop your gift aid claims.

By the end of this training you will;

• Understand the basics of gift aid including: registration, rules, recording and how to make a claim.
• Have a clearer understanding of which of your income sources qualify for gift aid and how to evidence and maximise your gift aid claims, e.g. raffles, entrance fees, collecting boxes, volunteer expenses.
• Understand the changes to gift aid for 2013-14 including the Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme.

Suitable for a Treasurers and Finance Officers, Fundraisers and anyone responsible for claiming gift aid. 

This training will be delivered by Nina Muir, Funding Advice Worker at Harrogate and Ripon CVS. Nina is a qualified trainer with extensive experience of supporting groups to develop their income streams.
