Salary Scale: SO1, point 29 (NJC pay scale)
£23,749 per annum pro rata
One year fixed term contract
17.5 hours per week (flexible working including evening and occasional weekend work)
National Phobics’ Society is a registered charity, established in 1970 offering a range of support services to people affected by anxiety disorders. The charity now requires a Media and PR officer to raise its profile to enhance the public and key stakeholder understanding and appreciation of its work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing potential income from the corporate and trust sectors. The aim of this role is to develop strong relationships at all levels with companies and to identify suitable trusts to approach for funding to support the National Phobics Society’s core activities as well as specific projects.
You will have at least 3 years direct experience of working in this field for a charity. Consequently we require someone with a proven track record of success and an ability to work flexibly.
