Electric Aid Ireland calls for applications

Irish electricity supplier ESB is inviting charities to apply to its ESB ElectricAid Ireland foundation. Electric Aid is ESB’s social initiative providing funding for programmes and projects in the areas of homelessness and suicide prevention.

The fund was launched in July 2006 and is available both in the Republic and Northern Ireland. In its first year Electric Aid funded 112 projects to a value of ‚€1.17 million.

There are four funding cycles each year and applications for this cycle closes on 13th November. Anyone interested in applying can contact James Foley on 017027732, ja*********@es*.ie. Application details can be found on www.esb.ie/electricaidireland
