Great Fundraising 2013 – The Event is launched

Howard Lake | 3 June 2013 | News

Following the release and high uptake of the Great Fundraising Report by Professors Adrian Sargeant and Jen Shang last month, Clayton Burnett are excited to announce the launch of a new prestigious event to showcase the findings of this transformational report.

‘Great Fundraising 2013 – The Event’ will also bring you the learning from the last year in fundraising, through 20 key speakers from the UK and international fundraising, who will share their experiences of a variety of topical subjects.

This flagship event will take place in the prestigious theatre at the Royal Institution in London on Thursday 5 December 2013.  Tickets are limited and should be booked in advance. The event is supported by UK Fundraising.

Over 400 attendees will have an opportunity to meet like-minded people who are keen to learn, share and be great fundraisers.

The speakers include Tanya Steele, Save the Children, Mark Astarita, British Red Cross, Leif Wien Jensen, Norwegian Association of the Blind, John Stewart, Guide Dogs and 16 other key practitioners from the sector.

Clayton Burnett look forward to welcoming all those who want to learn more about the findings of the Great Fundraising Report and have a desire to make transformational changes to fundraising.

In April, the year-long study of ‘Great Fundraising’ published by Professors Adrian Sargeant and Jen Shang was released free of charge by Clayton Burnett, who commissioned and briefed the project.  The report is still available from the Clayton Burnett website www.claytonburnett.com

The study, the first of its kind, focused on the United Kingdom and sought to answer the questions ‘What differentiates great fundraising from the average, good and poor?’ ‘What are the factors that allow an organisation to double, treble or even quadruple its income?’  ‘Great Fundraising’ was not defined in absolute monetary terms, but in terms of massive growth achieved.
