Bristol RAG celebrates 80 years of fundraising

The RAG (Raising and Giving) society at the University of Bristol is celebrating its 80th anniversary.

During its 80 years, the RAG Society has raised over £850,000 for various charities.

In the past year alone 4,000 volunteer students have raised more than £123,000, with one of them raising £13,340 of that on their own. The Society says that its RAG week in February 2005 was its most successful to date.
