Run or Dye invites good cause nominations to benefit from gift of colour

Howard Lake | 15 April 2015 | News

Charities and good causes can benefit from a colour-themed thank you gift from Run or Dye, “the world’s most colourful 5km” run.
The Run or Dye series will be taking place across the UK in 2015. As part of the series, organisers are offering to bring “colourful gifts to those who deserve a lift to brighten their lives”.

Nominations now open

Schools, organisations and individuals in need can be nominated via the Run or Dye website to request gifts for worthwhile causes.
The person nominating can suggest the gift, but it must have a colour theme. It could be repainting the local playground, creating a brigh mural for a community space, or even simply arranging for a bunch of flowers to be delivered to someone in need.
The closing date for nominations is 30 April 2015. Run or Dye will then select a number of those in need close to the UK Run or Dye event locations.

Run or Dye series 2015

Run or Dye
The Run or Dye series starts on 18th April in Manchester and will be followed by at least 14 events around the UK.
It is inspired by the Hindu festival of Holi, also known as the ‘Festival of Colours’. Run or Dye gives runners, walkers and those at all speeds in-between the opportunity to experience and celebrate in full colour the thrill of the Festival and introduce the idea of ‘living life on purpose’.
Participants can run dressed in white or their favourite and most extravagant costumes.
After crossing the finish line, runners, and spectators, can celebrate in the world famous Dye Festival as clouds of brilliant colours are blasted all around.
