Anup Tiwari of UNICEF has been pioneering a donor acquisition technique in India which combines telemarketing and face to face.
The presentation he gave at the International Workshop on Resource Mobilisation in Malaysia in May has been posted at http://telefacing.blogspot.com/
According to Anup this approach to donor recruitment is giving better results than other media. It's a methodology which might lend itself to other countries.
