Interview with Larry Johnston of McConkey-Johnston International

Howard Lake | 17 September 2009 | Blogs

Here in Colchester, Essex, you don’t often get to meet too many internationally renowned fundraising consultants, authors and speakers. So I jumped at the chance yesterday to meet up with Larry Johnston, President of fundraising consultancy McConkey-Johnston International, on his visit to the UK to meet his UK colleague Redina Kolaneci.

Larry has nearly 40 years experience in the fundraising industry, although we agreed no-one would have recognised such a description back in 1970.

In a video interview in a windy Colchester, Larry explained what the company does and why understanding data and donor motivation remains essential.
