Cock up - not conspiracy...

A recent Third Sector news article got the wrong end of the stick when reporting the IOF's election manifesto.

It wrongly gave the impression that the institute had called for the government to match legacy donations made to Remember a Charity members. In reality it actually called on the government to support the contributions members had made to the campaign so that we could make an even bigger impact. Sadly and rather unbelievably the first story had gained some traction with one or two.

Its pretty simple...it was a cock up, not a conspiracy. Just a mistake. So relax....
