The IFC has been developing the base for an extensive fundraising wiki, known as Wikifund, and we now need your help to improve, add and create new content. Much has already been written but some categories are enticingly empty: especially in regard to Social Media and Internet Fundraising.
You can, of course, just add content, but I can supply login details if you would like to be more involved.
So go to www.wikifund.info and start writing. You can put an external link at the foot of any page you write, but links in text should be to other info in Wikifund.
Thanks!

Thanks Howard, I have already had some great offers through this blog including a university and a couple of overseas professionals who want to help grow its scope.
There is still lots to do and all help is appreciated at this still quite early stage.
Many thanks to all those who have added their expertise and hel;pful information so far, but please don't hesitate to come forward if you can improve any part of the site. This can be done formally by receiving l;ogin details from me or informally by just going to the site and editing content.

Congratulations John on creating a wiki for the fundraising sector. It's a welcome addition to the online tools available to fundraisers, and I hope you get lots of good contributions.
John is in an excellent position to create such a tool. As well as his long track record of success (Friends of the Earth, Soil Association, Amnesty International UK - he was my boss there - Medical Foundation, and the International Fundraising Consultancy), his book 'Successful Fundraising' has been a top seller for years.
I'll be exploring the Wikifund and doing my best to contribute where I can.
