Red Cross leads the way in showcasing causes on the high street - which other charities will follow in its footsteps?

So British Red Cross fundraisers are taking defibrillators to the streets. What a brilliant idea that will no doubt save lives, improve The Red Cross’ fundraising income AND improve the image of street fundraisers no end.

I’m sure BHF will follow suit but what other brands could benefit society and themselves more by show-casing what they do on the high street? Will we soon see THT’s street fundraisers handing out free condoms? Or perhaps Dogs Trust will start sending its street fundraisers out with sad looking and new-home-needing Staffies? The opportunities are endless, but I am really looking forward to receiving my free tree saplings next time I’m approached to sign up to The Woodland Trust.
