Muchloved (a very small online memorial website charity) has recently been approach by a company called Real World Fundraising who are offering what they refer to as a "Trust Core Funding trust Appeal" for just under £1,400. Which basically involves them writing to various trusts on your behalf with a standard (ish) appeal letter. They also offer a refund pledge so if the income raised from the appeal after six months didn't cover the fee, we would refund the fee in full.
Not only are we small but our cause is very unusual so we thought this might be a good opportunity for us to find out which trusts we should be apply to.
Would be really interested to know what your experiences are and whether you could recommend any companies.
