The Community Foundation for Ireland is accepting applications for funding from organisations working with women affected by addition, prostitution, trafficking and violence and abuse.
The OLC Ireland Trust Fund, which is administered by the Community Foundation, will provide grants of up to €10,000 can be provided, although grants up to €5,000 will be more common.
There will be one round of grants in 2012. The closing date is Thursday 31 May 2012. Grants will be awarded in late August and proposed projects could begin from September onwards, with Outcome Reports due to be returned from February 2013 onwards.
Applications must be from community and voluntary groups that possess charitable aims and are constituted as not-for-profit. Unusually, organisations may re-apply for the same work previously funded under the Fund provided they have returned their Outcome Report and can demonstrate the impact achieved.
The Fund will not support salary or running costs, or replace statutory funding.
Applications must be made in writing using the application form. This may be downloaded from the Community Foundation's website and can be emailed to email@example.com. Hard copy application forms are also available on request from The Community Foundation for Ireland.
