Former ITN journalist appointed Director of Communications at CAF

Former television journalist for ITN and Channel Five Mark Webster has been appointed as Director of Communications for the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
Most recently Webster was the senior spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats. From February 2008 he will take responsibility for CAF’s communications strategy with specific responsibility for media relations, research, policy and events.
Commenting on his appointment, Webster said: “Having worked around the world covering politics, economics and conflicts I am very aware of the crucial role that charities play”.
