Dried fruit company's online store to benefit international children's charity

Submitted by howardlake on 15 May, 2008 - 14:19.

Slow dried fruit based snacks and cereals provider Southern Alps is now selling its entire range online via ethical virtual store Extraordinary Food.

A percentage of each sale will be donated towards international charity Global Angels, which supports children in developing countries. The online shopping cart states how much each item's purchase will generate for the charity.

Extraordinary Food itself already donates a minimum of £5 from every food box sold. In this way it aims to raise enough by 2010 to feed one million children.
