Essex-based marketing and promotions company GFM is handling telephone and postal donations to this year's Jeans for Genes fundraising campaign.
The company has been working with the charity for more than a decade and have helped them to raise over £30 million through donation handling at its contact centre in Hawkins Road in Colchester.
GFM Business Development Consultant Jiggs O’Sullivan said: "After sending out the fundraising packs, our job now is to co-ordinate the phone calls and mail from people wanting to make their donations to the charity from money they raised on the day. Our onsite facilities mean postal donations can be processed quickly and personalised thank you letters sent to supporters as soon as possible."
Staff at the company raised £700 themselves by being sponsored to wear fancy dress relating to different countries of the world.
