Miss India Worldwide UK has chosen the Sightsavers Vision India Appeal as its official charity to benefit from its 2011 competition. Sightsavers Vision India Appeal, which aims to raise £1 million to help restore the sight of millions of blind people in India, is one of two charities to benefit from the event which takes place in London on 26 March 2011.
Sightsavers will receive a percentage of money raised by the charity raffle and auction. Miss India Worldwide UK 2011 will also donate 10% of her earnings as Miss India to the Vision India Appeal.
