CAFAmerica, part of Charities Aid Foundation's international network of offices, is advising Americans on how to donate to organisations providing humanitarian relief efforts in the wake of the magnitude 8.9 earthquake in Japan earlier today.
CAFAmerica is compiling a list of Japanese and international charitable organisations preparing a response.
CAFAmerica currently works with a number of international emergency response and relief organizations that are providing services and support for the communities impacted by this disaster. These include the International Federation of Red Cross, Oxfam UK, Doctors Without Borders and Christian Aid. This list will be expanding as more organisations turn their focus to providing support.
