Mental health charity Mind is to expand its online fundraising to include an in memoriam fundraising site which will allow users to create their own fundraising page in tribute to a loved one.
The new site, called 'Memory Space', will be created by digital communications agency Chameleon. The charity decided to develop the site after its fundraising team had noted that a significant number of donations were coming from individuals setting up fundraising pages on sites like JustGiving, in memory of a friend or family member. The site will launch in December this year.
