Technology and welfare charity Lasa has published a collection of advice for charity leaders on what they should know about digital technology. ‘Digital: What Every Charity Leader Should Know‘ is a report that features advice from key opinion leaders such as Martha Lane Fox and Beth Kanter on how charity leaders can best exploit digital tools’ potential for income generation, collaboration and engaging with supporters.

The report features contributions from charities such as NCVO, UNICEF UK, CLIC Sargent, and Merlin; from US-based nonprofits NTEN and Techsoup Global; the funder Nominet Trust; and charity sector specialists including Rosie Chapman and Rachel Beer. UK Fundraising’s Howard Lake also contributed.

Lasa asked participants to summarise their top five insights into the use of digital technology for the sector’s sustainability, using one slide each.
