Theatre listings website Whatsonstage.com has chosen InterAct as the charity beneficiary of its Whatsonstage.com Awards.
The InterAct project is The Stagecoach Charitable Trust’s lead project and is committed to providing inclusive drama, dance and singing workshops which create opportunities for disadvantaged youngsters to join mainstream children.
The Whatsonstage.com Awards celebrate the best actors and actresses as chosen by theatre-goers. Each year, Whatsonstage.com selects one arts-related charity to benefit from the event and promotion around it. In addition the charity receives proceeds from the two Awards events.
Last year's charity beneficiary was Stage One.
