Comedian Russell Kane, star of BBC3's Live At The Electric, has launched the new international Stroke Solidarity String to mark the Stroke Association’s Action on Stroke Month 2013.

Kane chose to wear 150 of the indigo strings at the launch. Each of them has a pendant with the Stroke Association's logo on it.

Action on Stroke Month aims to reach out to stroke survivors and families and raise awareness of life after stroke.
