Small charities get to promote their impact via BBC Big Screens

Small Charity Week 2013 on BBC Big Screen (mockup)

The FSI, organisers of this month's Small Charity Week, are offering small local charities the opportunity to demonstrate their impact via a BBC Big Screen.

On 22 June, themed as Celebration Day, the screens will display a range of short impact statements from charities in the local area, reaching thousands of members of the public.

The FSI is inviting small charities based near one of the BBC Big Screens to submit their impact statement in no more than 140 characters for possible inclusion. They just need to explain to the public the difference that their charity makes.

Where are the BBC Big Screens?

There are screens in:

  • Belfast
  • Bradford
  • Bristol
  • Cardiff
  • Coventry
  • Derby
  • Derry
  • Dover
  • Edinburgh
  • Leeds
  • Leicester
  • Liverpool
  • Manchester
  • Middlesbrough
  • Norwich
  • Plymouth
  • Portsmouth
  • Swansea
  • Swindon
  • Waltham Forest, London
  • Woolwich, London

The selected impact statements will also be displayed in Russell Square, London, and tweeted throughout the day.

To take part you should contact The FSI by 12 June.
