UNICEF UK is reviewing its entire fundraising portfolio to help it develop a three-year fundraising strategy. It is working with charity specialist marketing consultancy Moving Thinking.

The review is designed to provide the charity with objective insights about its fundraising operation. It involves:

  • analysis of UNICEF UK's fundraising audiences
  • identification of gaps
  • analysis of existing and proposed products
  • analysis of market and societal trend information
  • and the development of new market maps for use across fundraising disciplines.

Mark Cook, director of Moving Thinking said: "I have huge admiration for UNICEF UK’s fundraising operation... This collaborative review will allow them to make informed decisions about what to do more of, what to do less of and what to stop."

Debbie Thompson, UNICEF UK Head of Fundraising Strategy, added: "The work that Moving Thinking is doing is helping us to see clearly how we can move our fundraising programme to the next level. They offer a series of smart tools that generate a lot insight."
