Smile Train to raise funds throughout Wimbledon via Twitter hashtag
Smile Train, the largest cleft lip and palate nonprofit, will benefit from publicity and fundraising during the Wimbledon Championships fortnight.
It has been selected as the charity partner to perform the coin toss at the Gentlemen's Singles final. This will be carried out on 7 July by 11-year-old Pinki Sonkar, one of the charity's patients. She was the subject in 2007 of the the Oscar(R) winning documentary short, Smile Pinki.
Travelling from her village in India to attend the event, Pinki will also meet Smile Train supporters during her stay in London.

Telemarketing services company InfoCision has also offered to donate £10 to Smile Train for every "share or retweet tagged #SmileyGraph" on Twitter during the Championships. It will donate up to $5,000. Additional tweets with the hashtag will simply help generate further publicity for the campaign. The social media activity will of course include channels other than Twitter.
