Winner of charities category in NMA Effectiveness Awards 2003

The Consumers' Association has won the Charities Award in the New Media Age Effectiveness Awards 2003.

The organisation won for its endowmentaction.co.uk campaign implemented by agency Green Cathedral. "This is a good example of what other charities should be doing," said the judges. "The CA has managed to explain complex information in a way that's accessible to all."

The Institute of Sales Promotion (ISP) has launched the third annual Cause Related Marketing (CRM) Competition with new charity partner, Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation.

New award for funeral directors' community support

A new annual awared scheme has been launched to recognise the voluntary efforts of funeral directors in supporting their local communities.

The SAIF Community scheme has been established by the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) and is open to any of their 700 members.

Entry forms for the Professional Fundraising and Institute of Fundraising Awards 2003 are now available.

This year's winning entries will be celebrated at an awards ceremony which will be held at the Institute of Fundraising
National Fundraisers Convention on Monday 7 July. A special awards brochure will also be produced and will be available on the night.
