UK Fundraising ranked in top ten non-profit resource sites

UK Fundraising has been chosen as one of "The Top 10 Comprehensive Nonprofit Resource WebSites" by the Nonprofit Management Program at Arizona State University's Nonprofit Management Institute. Find out which other sites are in the top ten. The Institute has also published a list of foundations which accept grant applications online.

RSPCA wins Yell UK Web Award

Animal charity RSPCA has won this year's UK Web Award in the Best Non-Commercial Web site category. Runner up was the Cancer Research Campaign. Judges said that the RSPCA site was "clean but hiding a lot of content."

Nonprofits Online '98: Working the Web, Transforming the Sector is the second annual conference on nonprofits and the Internet.

The 1998 ICFM/Professional Fundraising Awards have added further categories, but they still do not include an Internet fundraising award.

New award for UK Fundraising

Dead on the Web award

UK Fundraising has been awarded a Dead on the Web Resource Award.

These are given to select Web sites which promote the future of the Internet and strive to prevent others from becoming members of the "Invisible Web" and eventually a part of the "Dead Web."

As a result UK Fundraising is now listed as an award winner in the new Award-It! Web Site.

Awards for charities' use of the Internet

Internet magazine is holding the UK Internet Awards. One of the categories is Best non-profit use of the Internet, sponsored by BT Intranet Services.

The Marketing Telemarketing Awards 1997

The Arthritis and Rheumatism Council have won in the Charity Sector of this year's Telemarketing Awards.
