Celebrities often help charities in their fundraising efforts. One US celebrity, however, is now the subject of an online fundraising appeal himself.

UK Fundraising doesn't usually promote particular fundraising events, but we think you'll agree that this one is worth making an exception for.

Monica Lewinsky has turned her skills to designing bags and purses and is selling them online. Items are on sale for between $70 and $130. For each sale, Monica will donate $1 to charity, or "A Buck a Bag" as the site says.

With celebrities taking their clothes off in the name of breast cancer awareness this month, it seems everyone wants to get their kit off to raise funds for charity. In July UK Fundraising reported on members of The Women's Institute of Skipton who posed naked for a charity Christmas calendar.
