Image Provider Getty Images Inc is encouraging people to explore its online image archive, choose an image that moves you, add the idea it inspires, and share it with other site users. For each comment the company will donate $10 to Friends of the Global Fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Flightplan to donate 1% of its motor industry turnover to BEN

BEN, the motor and allied trades benevolent fund, has signed an agreement, effective from January this year, with air charter company Flightplan who will donate 1% of its motor industry turnover to the Fund.

NABS offers six Mercedes in online auction

Marketing communications industry charity NABS has launched an online auction which features six Mercedes cars and three Smart cars, together with other major prizes such as tickets to the World Cup Opening Ceremony.

The NABS Big Bash auction runs online first before the main event on 8 February 2006 at the Hilton, Park Lane.

Jessops reaches £70,000 target for its charity of the year

Photographic retailer Jessops has achieved its 2005 fundraising target for CLIC Sargent, its charity of the year.

Chris Langley, Chief Operating Officer for Leicester-based Jessops, which has 280 stores nationwide, said: "We are delighted to have banked more than £70,340 for CLIC Sargent."

The money was raised by Jessops' staff, suppliers and customers.

Halifax charity credit cards raised £1.5 million in 2005

Halifax credit cards generated £1.5 million in 2005 to Cancer Research UK (CRUK), Mencap and the NSPCC.

Halifax currently donates £20 to the customer's chosen charity when they first use the card. Thereafter it dones 25p for every £100 spend on the card.

Co-Op Bank's Customers Who Care donates over £100,000

This month the Co-operative Bank has donated through its Customers Who Care campaign, over £100,000 to five trade justice charities.

The five charities were nominated and voted for by customers. The successful charities this year were ActionAid, People & Planet, Traidcraft, War on Want, and the World Development Movement.

Everyclick is calling on business leaders to introduce 'desktop donating' at work so that their staff members can search the web and raise funds for charity at no cost to themselves.

Official charity for The Boat Race 2006 named

Environmental charity Thames21 has been selected as official charity for The Boat Race 2006. The charity's volunteers work to clean up London's rivers and canals and create habitats for wildlife.

O2 donates £10 per feedback on its coporate

Having published its Corporate Responsibility Report 2005, mobile phone company O2 is now offering to donate £10 to charity for each person that provides it with feedback on the report.

O2 will donate £10 "to a charitable cause" for every person who completes the short online questionnaire. There is a further incentive of a prize draw of books for every completed entry.
