The Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales made grants of £9.14 million to over 600 charities in its final funding round of 2007. This included £2.56 million to 36 collaborative projects.
Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland has distributed £112,000 in the third tranche of grants from money raised for its Rotary Flood Disaster Appeal. Funds distributed include those raised from Fashion For Relief, a charity fashion show organised by Naomi Campbell at the end of London Fashion Week.

Since its inception in 2003, the HBOS Charity of the Year programme, the Million £ Challenge, has raised over £11 million for charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Help the Hospices, NSPCC/Children 1st and ICAN.
The City of London Corporation's The City Bridge Trust has made a grant of £45,000 to Wheels for Wellbeing to provide a range of cycling services to increase social inclusion and participation for the disabled community in and around Lambeth.
Organisations providing accommodation, training and employment and well-being services for homeless people are being invited to pitch to win a share of more than £500,000 of investment to offer more people a permanent route off the streets. The funding comes from Spark, a £1.5 million project to prevent and tackle homelessness using social enterprise.
Barclays is donating £100,000 from the Barclays community investment fund to support 50 London-based charities who work to to improve the lives of London's communities. The "Londonations" initiative is operating in partnership with London newspaper Metro and the Capital Community Foundation.
