Action Planning to help BHF develop fundraising volunteers

The British Heart Foundation has appointed fundraising consultancy Action Planning to help it build the contribution of its community fundraising volunteers.

The charity is aiming to identify ways in which its community fundraising volunteers can play an increased role in local income generation and in presenting the BHF's work to key audiences.

Student book project launched as national charity

A book project established four years ago by students at The University of Nottingham to equip schools in Tanzania with books and equipment will be officially launched as a national charity at the House of Commons on October 31, 2007.
