Gardaí are investigating bogus charity workers who took up a collection for the victims of Haiti's earthquake last weekend, according to the Irish Times.
Retail and commercial bank Santander is to give away £250,000 to local charities and is asking customers across its 1,000 branches to help choose which organisations should receive a share.
