Charities risk management survey 2004 launched

Accountants and business advisors PKF and the Charity Finance Directors' Group (CFDG) have launched their annual Charities Risk Management survey and are inviting charities to participate.

Trustees' names to appear on Charity Commission Register

From 1 April 2004 the names of charities' Trustees will appear on the Charity Commission's online Register of charities in England and Wales.

The move which covers the one million or so charity trustees in England and Wales is designed to extend further the public transparency of information about charities.

The Leonard Cheshire Chairman has raised funds for the charity with a 10,000ft skydive.

Charles Morland, the Chairman of Leonard Cheshire, the UK's largest voluntary sector provider of support to disabled people, took part in a fundraising skydive at the weekend, jumping from 10,000ft over an Oxfordshire airfield.

Spinal Research appoints Volunteer Network Fundraiser
