A new report claims that charities are still not registering and using their domain names, despite the fact that other organisations could beat them to the draw and register their domain name.

Two US non-profits received professionally-designed Web sites in eight hours as part of a Web design competition.

Two teams of designers created the sites as part of the Web97 conference in San Francisco. The benefiting charities were Artists for a Hate-Free America and Spare Change.

Canadian fundraisers can now access details over Canadian and US foundations online.

The Canadian Fund Raising Directory from Canada Grants Service contains over 1,100 major Canadian and US foundations donating over $350 million per year in Canada to individuals and groups in various areas of interest.

Centrepoint raises £20,000 through online support from CompuServe

Centrepoint has received £20,000 following a link up with Internet Access Provider CompuServe Interactive )CSi) at Christmas.

CSi encouraged its 400,000 members to download a festive screensaver. For each download, CSi donated one dollar.

CFRNET moves to new address

The Corporate and Foundation Relations List CFRNET has moved to a new address.
